A mother and child make a gruesome discovery while walking on the beach in the east end of Port Alma. Arriving at the quaint Haldane Hill neighborhood, Detective Constable Holly Towns confirms that the pair have stumbled upon skeletal human remains. Should her next call be to the coroner or an archaeologist?

As she and the team from the Criminal Investigations Unit are securing the scene, another body is found. This time there’s no question. The corpse hasn’t been there long.

But the team is in a battle against the clock and nature.
